After interviews and form iterations, a handmade visual language using a dry ink brush and organic colours was designed to reflect
the artisanal nature of the brand.
Basil Box seeks to differentiate itself from other casual dining establishments in the area that offer Indianized versions of Italian cuisine. Italian cuisine is renowned for its simple recipes that emphasize fresh ingredients. Catering to individuals who prioritize both taste and health, I aim to position Basil Box as a brand that procures high-quality, fresh ingredients to deliver an authentic Italian dining experience in West Delhi. Elevating every dish to a work of culinary art that stands out from mass-produced alternatives.

Basil is a key ingredient in the Italian cuisine that brings freshness to any dish. In Italy, suitors traditionally gift a basil plant to their beloved as a symbol of affection and a wish for their prosperous life. I aim to capture these connotations and qualities of basil, along with the slow, handcrafted nature of Italian food into this form.
