This comic was created during a two-week graphic narrative course.  It has been adapted from the real-life story of Shivayya and his wife Nagendru, common residents of a small village in Andhra Pradesh. Their families have been farming in this village since generations.

 

The story explores how a common man's life can be drastically altered by a politician's broken promises of welfare. Many promises were made about building a dream capital in their homeland, but as the political power shifted, so did these promises.
